Synthetic Cutting Fluids

The most significant difference between synthetic and non-synthetic cutting fluids is that synthetics contain a higher concentration of additives, allowing them to last longer and often perform much better. Most synthetic fluids are more resistant to oxidation and heat, meaning that your cutting machine will perform cooler and cleaner. Synthetic fluids are also less dense and have greater resistance against viscosity breakdown.

Types of Synthetic Cutting Fluid and Oil We Offer

At DoALL, we offer an extensive range of fluids geared toward specific applications. Many of our synthetic grinding and cutting fluids have the highest cobalt leach inhibitors, the best detergent properties and the lowest disposal costs on the market. Our oils have low foaming tendencies, making them perfect for high-pressure coolant systems.

Some examples of the synthetic fluids we supply include:

  • BAND-ALL® 103: Our BAND-ALL 103 is a clear green synthetic grinding and cutting fluid perfect for demanding applications like tapping, sawing and deep-hole drilling. This fluid helps maximize tool life by providing outstanding lubrication and preventing corrosion on machine parts. It's suitable for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

Benefits of Using Synthetic Cutting Fluids for Your Application

Our synthetic cutting fluids can deliver these advantages over conventional options:

  • Efficiently flush chips away from the cutting zone
  • Keep the workpiece cool during the highest cutting speeds
  • Reduce thermal distortion, resulting in improved cutting accuracy
  • Provide higher corrosion resistance levels than traditional blends
  • Flow better in extreme temperatures
